individuals around the Port Authority and to hire a nurse practitioner to provide health and mental health screenings. Brooklyn Community Housing and Services was awarded $35,000 for the Brooklyn Housing Assistance Center, which provides support for people at risk for homelessness. In Los Angeles, the Weingart Center Association received $50,000 to provide mental health and recovery services in support of its mission to empower and transform lives by delivering innovative solutions to break the cycle of homelessness. In addition, LavaMae X was awarded $30,000 to fund their shower program for unhoused Los Angeles residents. In Baltimore, a $40,000 grant was awarded to Health Care for the Homeless to support its mission of providing comprehensive care for children and families without homes. In addition, Baltimore Station received $65,000 to help expand mental health care for homeless veterans.
