Last year, we were invited to build and hold a safe space for immigrant teenagers at a high school here in San Francisco. We knew they had suffered a great deal of hardship due to the pandemic, and were suffering academically. And like many asks that we receive, the funds that accompanied the request were not enough to launch. Venable stepped forward to join us and helped tremendously. Together, we have built a program where our youth are reconnected, healing and thriving.
